If you got the “red” call you should immediately smash your mobile, or better yet throw it in one direction and run in the other. That was because it was a death app, activating a high frequency signal in the phone that triggered a severe brain haemorrhage.
A rather distressing viral, circulating in Kenya, threatens death by mobile. It’s a hoax, of course. Yet our Africa correspondent found the response from Kenyan authorities enlightening.
